Ma-to-vu  o-ha-le-cha  Ya-akov,  mish-kno-techa  Yisrael.

How goodly are your tents, O Jacob, your dwelling places, O Israel.  Numbers 24:5

Response #1

O Lord, through your abounding faithful love I come into Your house, and reverently I worship You in Your Holy sanctuary.  I love being in Your house, the place where Your Glory resides.  Here I bow down to worship You, my Lord and Maker.  Accept my prayer, O Lord, and answer with Your great mercy and with Your saving truth.  Ay-mayn.

Response #2

How lovely are Your tabernacles, O Lord of Hosts!  I long, yes, I pine for the courts of the Lord; my heart joyfully sings to the Living God.  One thing I have asked of the Lord, that I will pursue.  That I may live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the graciousness of the Lord and to enter His sanctuary.  Teach me Your ways. O Lord, and lead me in the right path.  With You is the fountain of life, in your light do we see light.  Ay-mayn.

Response #3

Blessed, praised, glorified, honored and exalted be the Name of the King of kings, the Holy One, blessed be He, who is the first and the last, and besides Him there is no God.  Extol Him in the heavens; Lord is His Name; rejoice before His face, His Name is lifted up beyond all blessings and praise.  Blessed be His Name whose glorious kingdom is forever and ever.  Let the Name of the Lord be blessed forever and ever.  Ay-mayn.

and that it is in this way that all Yisrael will be saved.  As the Tenach says, Out of Tzion will come the Redeemer; He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob and this will be my covenant with them,when I take away their sin.   Romans 11:26&27

And it came to pass, whenever the ark went forward, Moshe would say:  Arise O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered.  May those who hate You flee from before You.  For from Tzion shall go forth the Torah and the Word of the Lord out of Yerushalaiyim.
Blessed be He who in Holiness gave the Torah to His people Yisrael.

Amidah

O Lord open my lips that I may declare your praise.

Blessed art Thou, O Lord our God and God of our fathers.  God of Avraham, God of Yitzchak, God of Ya-akov;  the great, mighty, revered and exalted God who bestows loving-kindness and is Master of all.  Mindful of the patriarchs love for Thee, You will in Your love bring a Redeemer to their childrens children for the sake of Your Name.  Remember us in life, O King who delights in life, and compel us to follow Your Word so that we may live worthily for Your sake, O God of Life.  O King, my helper, my Redeemer and Shield, praised be You, O Lord, Shield of Avraham.

My God, keep my tongue from evil, my lips from lies.  Help me ignore those who slander me and let be humble before all.  Open my heart to Your Word that I may pursue Your commandments.  Frustrate the design of those who plot evil against me and make nothing of their schemes.  Do so because of Your compassion, Your power, Your Holiness and Your Word.  Answer our prayer for the deliverance of Your people.  May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to You, my Rock and my Redeemer.  He who brings peace to His universe will bring peace to us and to all the people Yisrael, and let us say: Ah-mayn.

For it is incumbent upon us to praise the Master of all, to exalt the Creator of the world; for He has made us distinct from the nations and unique among the families of the earth.  Our destiny is not like theirs, our calling is our task.  We bow down and acknowledge before the King of Kings that there is none like Him.  For He stretched forth the heavens like a tent and established the earth.  Truly there is none like our Lord and King.  As the Torah says, You shall know this day and reflect in your heart that it is the Lord who is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, there is none else.  We hope, O Lord our God, to soon behold your majestic glory when all abominations shall be removed and all false gods shall be at an end.  Then shall the world be perfected under the rule of the Lord Almighty and all mankind shall call upon Your Name.  For to You every knee must bow and every tongue declare that You are God.  Reign over us soon and forever.  May the kingdom of Davids greatest Son be established forever.  For then shall the Words be fulfilled, The Lord shall be King forever, and The Lord shall be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord shall be One and His Name One.

Our fathers ate manna in the desert; as it says in the Tenach; He gave them bread from heaven to eat.  Yeshua said to them; Yes, indeed!  I tell you, it wasnt Moshe who gave you the bread from heaven.  But my father is giving you the genuine bread from heaven; for Gods bread is the One who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.  They said to Him; Sir, give us this bread from now on.  Yeshua answered;

Erev Shabbat Service

In Luke 22: 17-20, Yeshua said;

And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said, Take this and share it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.  And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.  And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.

Father, in the name of Yeshua, we come before You in prayer and in faith believing that You will hold true to Your Word.  Therefore, Father, we come boldly and confidently before You and all the courts of heaven, and present the nation of Yisrael and our Jewish brothers and sisters worldwide; that You will grant to all Yisrael Your promise of salvation.  We thank you, Father in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach.  Ah-mayn.

In Exodus 31:16&17, the Lord, God says;

So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.  It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased {from labor, and was refreshed."

In Hebrews 4:9, the Lord, God says;

So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

The Lights Of Shabbat

Come, let us welcome Shabbat, the queen of days.

Psalms 27:1 says;

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?

Light reminds us of Gods covenant with us.

Psalms 119: 105 says;

Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

Light reminds us of Israels calling.

Isaiah 42:6 says;

"I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,..

Light reminds us of the Messiah.

John 8:12 says;

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

Light reminds us of the world to come.

Revelation 22:5 says;

And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun,

because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.

Kiddush

Bah-rukh  ah-tah  Adonai  eh-lo-hay-noo  meh-lehkh  hah-o-lahm, bo-ray  pree  hah-gah-fehn.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, Who creates the fruit of the vine.

(Leader: Take a sip of the wine)

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, Who has sanctified us by Thy commandments, and has taken pleasure in us.  And, in love and favor, You have caused us to inherit the Holy Shabbat, in remembrance of the creation.  A day which is the beginnings of our holy gatherings and is a memorial of our departure from Egypt.  For You have chosen us and forgiven us of our sins through the blood atonement of our Messiah, Yeshua. And, in love and favor have caused us to inherit the Shabbat for rest and refreshing.  Blessed are You, O Lord, Who hallows the Shabbat.

Hah Motzi

Bah-rukh  ah-tah  Adonai  eh-lo-hay-noo  meh-lehkh  hah-o-lahm hah-mo-tzee  leh-khelm  meen hah-ah-rehtz.

Blessed are You O, Lord our God, King of the universe Who brings forth bread from the earth.

In John 6:31-35, Master Yeshua said;

"Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, `HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.' "Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven. "For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world. "Then they said to Him, "Lord, always give us this bread. "Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.

Hah-mo-tzee  leh-khehm  meen  hah-ah-rehtz

We give thanks to God for bread, our voices rise in song together as our joyful prayer is said:

Bah-rukh  ah-tah  Adonai  eh-lo-hay-noo  meh-lehkh  hah-o-lahm hah-mo-tzee  leh-khehm  meen  hah-ah-rehtz.  Ah-mayn.

Blessed are You, O Lord  our God, Ruler of the universe, Who brings bread from out of the earth and has given us the Bread of Life in our Messiah, Yeshua.  Ah-mayn.

And all of Gods people said;

Shabbat Shalom

(Peace of the Sabbath)

Havdalah Service

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and will not be afraid, for the Lord my God is my strength and my song. He also has become my salvation.

And, in that day you will say, Halleluyah!  Call upon His Name.  Declare His deed among the peoples, and proclaim that His Name is exalted.

Salvation belongs to the Lord; Your blessings will be upon Your people.  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.

In the past, the Jews had light and joy, gladness and honor.  So be it with us.  I will lift up the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.

Bah-rukh  ah-tah  Adonai  eh-lo-hay-noo  meh-lehkh  hah-o-lahm bo-ray  pree  hah-gah-fehn.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, Who creates the fruit of the vine.

(All: Take a sip of the wine)

Bah-rukh  ah-tah  Adonai  eh-lo-hay-noo  meh-lehkh  hah-o-lahm bo-ray  mee-nay  vsah-meen.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, Who creates various kinds of spices.

(Pass the spices and savor the aroma)

Besides the sweetness of Shabbat these spices remind us of the sweetness of Gods love and His preservation of Yisrael amongst all peoples.

Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, Who creates the light of the fire.
